Ethan Edgeworth from Cold Springs High broke an all-time Alabama record by running 8:38.49 for sixth place in the boys invitational 3,200 meters at the 56th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Edgeworth was among seven athletes to run sub-8:40. He contributed to 27 athletes in the race eclipsing the 8:50 barrier and among 69 total competitors to produce a sub-9 effort during the two-day schedule.
